Why does my iPhone keep turning OFF and ON by itself?

iPhone turning OFF and ON

If your iPhone keeps turning off and on automatically, then you need to take a look at your device components and see if there are in optimal condition.

Battery Health

With a low battery state of charge, a higher chemical age, or colder temperatures, iPhones are more likely to shutdown unexpectedly. In extreme cases, shutdowns can occur more frequently, thereby rendering the device unreliable or unusable. If this is the case for your device, you might consider replacing your iPhone battery. You can find out by going to Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging.

Installed App(s)

Your iPhone may keep restarting automatically due to a specific app installed on your device.

You can check the Analytics & Improvements under Privacy Settings for any app. Just tap “Analytics Data” and see if any app is listed multiple times, if there is, that is a strong indication that the app might be restarting your device.

Software Out-of-date

If your device’s software components are out-of-date or too old, it can cause your device to malfunction. A complete software update can help keep your device’s system in good shape.
